Music Kids Academy SoundLab at Booth Wood

Music Kids Academy SoundLab is a lively and creative lunch time music club where pupils come together to explore the exciting world of music through rhythm, singing and practical music-making.

Each session is designed to be hands-on, energetic and inclusive, giving children the chance to experience the joy of making music as part of a group. Using percussion, boomwhackers, rhythm games and vocal activities, pupils will learn how music works from the inside out — feeling the pulse, creating rhythms together and building confidence as performers.

SoundLab is open to all abilities. No previous musical experience is needed — just curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to join in. For many pupils it will be their first opportunity to make music in this way, while others may discover new skills and confidence they didn’t know they had.
